The Story Begins
In 1967 Rick Ray purchased a struggling used car lot in the San Diego area. After several years of selling new and used car Rick decided to start carrying RVs. Rick was an avid traveler and would often go on road trips with his family over the summer. Soon the car lot was slowly becoming a RV lot and in 5 years the change would become complete and Weekend Warriors was born. Rick soon after expanded his lot and started to carry many top brands such as Winnabago, Jayco and Safari. Weekend Warriors is now San Diego’s top RV sales agent with an astonishing 8,000 sales in 10 years. And for the future of Weekend Warriors Rick plans to make the chain national with lots opening soon in 5 major cities, and the opening of WeekendWarriors.com.
